What are the costs for a quarantine domain name in a quarantine auction?

We work on an auction basis. If you are the only bidder on a certain domain name, you will pay the minimum bid of 50 exc. VAT. We do not charge any additional fees.

When do I pay for a domain name?

You only pay for a domain name when and if it has been registered by us.

Where do I find the invoice?

When a new invoice becomes payable you will receive a notification via e-mail. After logging in on DomainOrder.com you can find the invoice under "Manage account". Invoices will not be sent via post or e-mail.

How do I pay?

On the invoice page there is a link to pay the invoice via iDEAL. If you do not use iDEAL then a manual bank transfer is the best option. The pay- and bank information can be found on the invoice. We do however advise you to pay via iDEAL. This is the quickest and most direct way, after completing the payment you can see the transfer tokens and the domain will be yours as of that point. If you use the bank transfer option this will take several days.

What happens after I have paid my invoice?

After the payment has been received (with iDEAL this will be almost direct) you will receive your SIDN token. This will enable your provider of choice to transfer the domain name.

Is it possible to use a different billing address for my invoice?

No, the invoice will have to be billed to your person and your company. It can’t be billed on someone else.

I have won an auction, but have not yet received an invoice.

If applicable, you will receive the invoice when the domain name you have bid for has been obtained. This can take up to 7 days after the ending of an auction.

What is the payment term?

8 days after the invoice has been received.

What does a minimum price mean in relation to a theme auction?

The provider of a domain name determines the minimum price. During the auction an indication of the minimum price will be shown. There will only be a winner in case the minimum price has been reached.
